Tirine Education was established in 2003. We wanted to fill a need for educational posters that only sometimes fell into the mainstream categories that most poster publishers focused on at the time.

In 2016, we hesitantly made a few of our posters available as digital downloads through this Etsy shop. For whatever reason, the experiment was not successful, and we closed the shop about nine months later.

The situation changed with the Covid pandemic. We suddenly found great difficulty printing and selling posters directly to schools. The lockdowns meant that schools were closed, our printers were closed and trying to ship physical posters was impossible, with deliveries taking weeks.

That experience encouraged us to return to Etsy in 2022. We now offer a wide range of educational posters aimed at toddlers to teenagers. The demand for digital downloads has grown considerably since we first experimented with the idea in 2016.

We have explored the idea of print-on-demand posters, but they would be too expensive. We believe that digital downloads offer the best deal for teachers and schools because they save on carbon miles and are more environmentally responsible. We also know that teachers often have a parent who will print posters for school cheaply or free. We hope that is the case with you.
